FINALLY...an Update :)

Good Morning All,

I hope you this blog entry finds you are all doing well. I have lots of updating to do.

The girls had their "Olympics" at the end of May. It was pretty cute. Merry has gotten much better on the floor and the beam. Joy just played.

End of May, Raiden and I went to the Senior PGA Championship at Oak Tree Country Club down the street from our house. We had a blast! Jason Smith from church went with us.

As we were preparing for Memorial Day, we had everything completed, except cooking, so we went to Frontier City. Merry is now big enough to ride ALL THE ROLLERCOASTERS at Frontier City. She rode the Silver Bullet 3 times. She screamed the entire time. She loved it! Joy rode the Log Flume, Log Ride, whatever you wanna call it twice. She told me she did not want to ride it the second time. I went to leave her and she said, "Me too!" She was pretty scared but she did AWESOME!

Memorial Day was great! A smaller crowd than previous years but I was able to spend more time visiting with my guests instead of saying "Hi!" and "Thanks for coming." like most years. I know several people were expecting me to rip on those who signed up and did not attend. Sorry. I saw no need for that. :)

The kids had swim lessons right after Memorial Day. This was Joy's first year. What a handful she was...or so i heard. Merry and Raiden are much better around water than last year. AWESOME JOB guys!

This last Thursday we hosted a wedding reception for our good friend Kristi and her new hubby Peter. It was the first time I had a large number of people in my backyard without a volleyball game. :( Friday we went to the Redhawks game. That was a blast! Saturday we went to Northrop Grumman's company picnic at City Beach (
www.citybeachokc.com) My team actually won the volleyball tournament!!! YAY FOR US!!!

Sunday I went to see X3...FINALLY!!! Wow that was worth the wait. I had so much fun at that movie. Being a "former" comic book geek, I thought I knew everything that would happen in this one. BOY was I wrong! It was fantastic!

Sunday afternoon, Raiden became an even bigger boy. He went to his first week long camp. :( He is at Camp Impact on the campus of Oklahoma Christian University. You can send him an email at camp.oc.edu. He is rooming with his homie Gregory. He was so excited he could hardly wait to get out of the house. He told me in the car that he will miss being at home but he will miss his sisters a little bit.

I will post picutres in the next post.

Thanks for reading!
